I see your first tank gets some sunlight . Any algae issues ?

 

Thanks guys.@rsa Not really no. It does grow but in my shrimp tank its a bigger issue. I just wipe the glass every now and then, twice a week maybe. I actually want algae in that tank for the guppies. When I do a wipe they go mental. It gets light from 15:30 till dark 4-5 hours this time of year. Temp set at 25c and after the sun goes down its 28c.

 

@BoelderBeestie, your fish and shrimps seem very happy. I especially like the planted shrimp tank, but what impresses me is the variety you manage to keep going.

@ROEKSTE, man, that is a tank and a half. What do you have in there, and what are your future plans for it?

 

Thanks dorff It's a rather peaceful mixed SA tank. I have Geophagus Tapajos Red head's, Geophagus Surinaminenses, Guianacara Stergiosi's, Neon Blue Acara's, Bleeding Heart Tetra's, Columbia Tetra's, Lemon Tetra's.

I still want to add Rummy nose Tetra's, Diamond Tetra's, Spotted Headstanders and Cardinal Tetra's. Also want to plant some more vallis and Hygrophila corymbosa 'narrow leaf' at the back and more anubia's on the wood.

I think it will be nice once done.

 

@ROEKSTE , very nice!!! Love the geos myself, we also have quite a few. Cheeky with loads of character.
