Discus bubble bath??

I owned discus for many years, but for some reason my sister's new Blue Diamond like to hang out in the bubble curtain. The 6x 5cm are new members of their home and still shy. I asked if there is enough space in the rear of the tank for them to hang out or does the bubbles take up most space in the back. They replied there is space for them between the plants and log. But apparently the little ones prefer the bubbles. This is strange behaviour for me. Any other owners whom discus have the same fetish?

I have got 3 that LOVE to be in the bubble curtain and play around in it - I did not think it was 'a problem' but thought they were just having fun - we wait the hear what others say about it.
