Discus Breeders/Importers

    Hi Fellow Fish Lovers,

    I having been trying but with no success to find a reputable Discus breeder/importer, i would like to do this right hence the reason i am searching.

    Can i please get some help with regard to this, does anyone know of a good breeder/importer? i am looking for discus that are about 8cm's, I would like Certain strains but i am not to fussy about the strain. I am looking for around 7-8 fish.

    Any help will be appreciated greatly.

    @Snaily5,

    I would also add be careful who you buy from.
    Lots of people import and sell poor quality fish.
    Do some homework and make sure you are buying good quality, even if it costs you a bit more.

    I am in the same boat as OP, I try to get as many strains as possible in my tank. I have 15 Discus at the moment and only two are the exact same strain. I can vouch for Andrew ( @pHish_man ) I have bought 5 Discus off of him already. There is also a new shop that is opening up in a Midas in Bellville (Western Cape) - Speak to Hercules. I bought 5 beautiful discus two weeks ago when he Imported a 100 of them. The fish are great shape, color and general quality. They feed like crazy and were disease (obviously not parasite) free. I would give them a try as it may be your better option. People that import in bulk gets better pricing... believe me, importing a hand full is very expensive at the moment, I tried.
