Different Mosses

Quite a distinct difference between the two.

 

I moved this here so that maybe we can get a good few pics going of all the different mosses? It could become a valuable resource as people struggle to Identify mosses.

Moss List

This is a good website I found with allot of different types.

 

Mosses can grow different under different circumstances. Most mosses you would not be able to distinguise just on their looks.
Only some have a huge difference like the ones slojo posted.

 

Obviously not all mosses are different, but it would at least help some people to see the ones that are different. For instance the two posted above are very different, as is Flame Moss, and it would appear that these three in particular are most popular, so if it will help people to ID their moss then it is useful.

I just got my Java Moss from Dolphin I am just waiting for the other moss he's got to grow a bit then i can get the rest...
