Different cories

Hi guys

Will different types of cories swim together? Or will they only swim with their own?

Hi, they will stick with their own type, they won't school with different Corry's.

Pretty much that - they recognise their own kind and stick with them. If there is a big disturbance in the tank, you might see them all together, but otherwise not so much. They'll intermingle when there is food scattered around, too, but afterwards it's back to the team.

Interestingly, I've seen one or two instances where the dwarf cory species will school together for extended periods. I don't know why this happens, or if this happens continuously, but it is cool to see.

 

My bronze and albino have a jol in the tank, they basicly together all the time, but the pandas do not mingle with them, if you want in depth details on corys ask doubledutch, hes the fundi when it comes to them

 

I think these are the same corys, just a different colour morph whereas the pandas are completely different.
