So i have decided to start a single thread on TASA to cover my 3 setups currently. My one tank is on APSA, the other is on Simply and my third has yet to be documented on a forum.

I have 3 aquariums as i have now stated. A 16 litre low tech shrimp tank, 100 litre high tech aquarium and currently in the process of setting up my first discus aquarium. I used to keep 6 tanks but this year i decided to sell off and cut down to rather have 3 really good looking tanks instead of multiple average aquariums. More attention devoted to each tank has made a big difference and I've slowly been upgrading equipment where i can.

I'll post photos of all 3 tonight when i get home.

thread serves to show everyone what I've done but i also want people to give positive criticism if they see something that could be improved.

So as promised here are some photos of my aquariums

1st my 250 litre discus aquarium. currently cycling and getting setup. a few things still need to be done on this.
i run about a 45 litre sump on here with a 120 litre resevior tank for water changes. All of this sits in the stand and is not visible.

2nd is my 100 litre high tech aquarium. Led lights and co2 injection. Tetra ex1200 canister filter and pfs with mineralized topsoil and root tabs.

Love the style of your tanks. Definitely can get some inspiration from them.

Will be awesome to see that 1st tank once you get the discus.

Thanks everyone !! Means a lot!

Im super excited to get the discus. Will be getting from Marco, so i know I'm getting quality. Nothing hectic shrimp wise, literally just plain old shrimp. Had pumpkins at one point and one day had a mass die out.

I couldn't choose a favourite as they are all different with there own set of challenges.
But if you all want to vote i would be happy to see what everyone else thinks.
I am extremely happy with the way the low tech turned out though, every now and then i throw a plant in to see if it survives and it usually surprises me.

it breaks my heart to inform everyone that today the 100 litre high tech aquarium cracked. it was not such a severe crack that it is leaking, however it completely ruins the look of the aquarium and the tank will have to be replaced.

i put on a temporary patch to ensure no further cracking or leaking can occur and will try replace the aquarium before the new year.

    IMG_20170927_200904__1506537382_154.73.140.116.jpg IMG_20171001_085411__1506887670_154.73.140.116.jpg

on a more positive note, i managed to install my algae scrubber, temperature controllers and switches into my discus aquarium which means the setup is nearly complete. left to install is just the geyser timers and covers to protect the temperature controllers and geyser timers from water. i also bought an ro system last week and have set it up beside the aquarium to feed into the reservior tank.
