    Hi Guys,

I just spoke to a freind of mine, and he said that he bought a dalmation convict, tried looking for a profile on this fish but can't seem to find one...anyways, i called the LPS that he bought it from and they said that its a mutation from the convict family, like the parrot fish...i don't trust the LPS, can anyone confirm this?

I'll beat Henk to it and tell you Convicts are blacklisted. Please could you PM me the LPS's name so we can follow it up.

On the point of a 'Dalmation Convict' I've never heard of it but I know there are a couple of mutations such as the Golden convict so is def possible.

thanks KiazerG, but i wouldn't hunt down any LPS store just yet, its not on the blacklist, so they could get you on a technicality...

also, would the mutated species be regarded as blacklisted, as they are not 100% pure bred convict?

    Good question...

You might find the list on that thread is not the most current one. There may have been updates that haven't been included. I'll pass it on to our enforcement guy and he can decide what to do.
