CYprinidae ID required (True Barbs)

    I need an ID on this Cyprinidae species:

    Please see if you can help as pet shop states that it is a striped barb??

    Got pic off internet btw.

    I'm sure you saw these at exotic? Also puzzled by these, pretty sure they're not striped barbs.

    Indeed, I did see them there, well I took five and they really are the cutest little things - Behavior is very shy but they start schooling again after a while sitting very still, seems like there is a leader/ scout that checks out the area and then only do the others follow.
