Custom Rgb LED lighting

    Hi guys. Has anyone built a light fixture using RGB LED strips ? Saw a few builds with this kind of setup. If it's been done what LED strips /equipment did you need and how are the strips controlled individually, does each one need it's own controller?. Currently using floodlights in my tanks and considering an upgrade

    Keep the floodlights, the RGB strips won't add any value to the tank besides the possibility of adding more 640+NM depending on what R is being used.

    5000-6500K led spot lights are more than enough for any small to medium tank. It's only starts getting a bit more complex when you have deeper planted tanks and need to do spectral tuning.
