Cryptoheros sajica T-bar cichlid

    Hi ya all. I saw this Cichlid on Facebook and like it a lot. Are this beautiful Cichlids on the blacklist in South Africa?

    Nope, it's not on the current blacklist.

    There may be little demand for them, or people simply don't know about them and therefore they're never brought in. I'm sure if you ask your LFS or one of the sponsors on this site, you might be able to get your hands on a pair.

    Thanx for your help SalmonAfrica. As youngsters these cichlids look a bit drab and dull but as adults they got some cool blue and yellow colors. Might be the reason as to why People don't buy them. I will do a round trip this weekend and see If I can get a pair of them.

    Used to have 2 pairs when I had my South/Central American chiclid setup, nice fish indeed and not that aggresive. As you said @nick discus, really beautiful when reaching mature age. The one pair spawned twice in the 4 ft setup I used to have.

    Thanx for your response wsteene. I got a. Facebook friend in America end he got a pair in his central American setup. I got no other choice than to get myself a pair of these Cichlids. If anybody can help please let me know.

    I used to have a pair of these.

    Although some people claim that they are not aggressive, mine were mental. And I got rid of them eventually.

    Thanx wsteene. @dfish. Sorry to hear that. I will most likely house them with some BN pleco's in a 200L tank if I'm lucky enough to get my hands on some.
