Corys and Carpet Plants

    Hallo!

    Anyone successfully keeping corys in a tank with carpet plants?

    Mine have uprooted just about anything I attempted and basically I need to know if it can be done or if I should give it a rest.

    The trick is to let your carpet plants carpet entirely before adding the corries. Once the plants have rooted firmly, they will be difficult to uproot.

    Yip @Dinky this is the only way, and do it too soon and you end up with and even bigger mess and have to start all over again, especially with a low density substrate like ADA Aquasoil... Moved my office tank last month and took out all the big Corrys and left only the Ottos and Pygmy corrys and even they uproot hairgrass.

    Had the same problem. My albino cories never gave my HC a chance to get roots. Romed them and boom!
