    Good day guys and girls.

So my Cory's in the shrimp tank decided to spawn today and lay a ton of eggs everywhere. I notice the shrimp sitting on them, I'm guessing they are feasting. Any chances the eggs will survive.

    Livestock:
    Ghost shrimp
    Cherry shrimp
    Chocolate shrimp
    Blue shrimp
    Cory pandas x2
    Bronze Cory x1
    Albino cory X 2

Some snails (mts, nerite, Ramshorn, assassin)

Thanks in advance, I'd love to see this through so my daughter can watch them go through the cycle

I may be wrong but I dont think shrimp eat fertilized eggs, only dead and unfertilized ones.

Thanks. And assassin snails would though from what I've read online.

In my experience, snails (especially assassins) and corries will eat the eggs.
Also, those look white still am I correct? Fertilised eggs will turn brown in colour

They are actually brownish in colour with a white spot in the middle. Let me try and get a better picture

If it was me, I would try and isolate the eggs from all the other livestock

They're in a little breeder box floating on the top of the tank. Has some flow going through it as well

Noticed some shrimplets were born today and crept their way into the hatchery so think they might eat em... Still no eggs have black in them just a white centre so I'm guessing that they're infertile

One clutch of 5 eggs has some fungus growing around it. The rest are all free of fungus

All eggs turned fungus. Fed em to the ghost shrimp and have the tank a little clean. Maybe in the future they'll breed again

Sorry to hear! Apparently if you put rooibos tea with the eggs that helps prevent fungus.. But what I used to do was put them in a bottle with an air stone as a makeshift egg tumbler and kept that in the same tank so temps remained the same and just did very regular water changes. I can't remember if I also made holes for water circulation too..

I was actually thinking of doing this. I've used a makeshift tumbler for my Cichlids before so I'm comfortable with making one
