Corries + betta?

    I was just wondering how many corries could be kept with 1 siamese fighter. In a 1ft tank its about 24l. And if they can be kept together this will be the only fish in the tank

    I'm sure you could, the siamese wouldn't be too bothered by them...

    I'd think a little school of 4 or 5? IMHO...

    None actually, not because the betta will doing anything to them but because corries grow to 5cm big and live in schools.

    Only one that may be suitable would be pigmy corries.

    Corries are fine with Betta's... BUT in that size tank I would say no because you need a minimum of 5-6 for them to be happy.

    Agree with Vis.... It will only work if you use pigmy Corries or maybe panda corries because they don't get as big as the rest... not to sure though but some one will correct me if I am wrong.

    I don't think it will be fair to keep 5/6 cories in a 1 foot witch are only just suitable for a betta. How about an Apple snail or 2?
