Hi guys, i think, 2 days ago my convict female layed eggs, she did twice before, but the male was a sissy and kept running away.

This time around he stuck it out with the females behaviour, and did what he was suppose to do, even turning himself sideways outside the pot,,, lol
It was a crazy scene to watch, but the male is keeping guard while the female is inside, it seems pritty right to me, even though i've never bred any cichlids before...

How long does it take for the eggs to hatch?

And if they do hatch, how long can i keep the fry in the main tank with the parents?
And will my tank be big enough for them all with the filter I'm running?

    It's a 150 liter tank, with 300 watt heater, and a Resun HOB Stream Filter - SF-700

Thanks guys, i just want to do my homework and prepare myself before hand, that i don't run into any problems later on...

    Thank you

Hope so, don't want to desturb to much, by shining any light into the pot to see what's going on...

spawning failed... female laid eggs, but looks like its failing again.

but the male was helping to fan the eggs this time and very agresive...

not sure if its a fail, but it doesnt look very promising
