CO2 Regulator Failure

Hey peeps
So here is a question and I hope that some members might be able to assist.
I woke up to an almost disaster this morning. My CO2 had been running all night long. It seems that with the load shedding we had yesterday afternoon, the regulator did not shut off properly.
I have managed to strip the solenoid valve and inspect it and I have found that the plunger is stuck in the "open" position.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? I would prefer not to go out and get a new one if it is only the solenoid.
I have googled solenoid valves but I am not able to match anything.

Hey buddy,

You can’t buy these loose, the only way to get a replacement is to find someone with the same regulator that’s willing to sell you the solenoid cheap.

I’ve spent years looking to buy replacement parts for regulators. The only ones that sell “spares” are Co2art. No other brand.

I was hoping that was not the case.
I found one of these, guess it is worth a shot. Cheaper than a new regulator I suppose.

Yeah so I have two of these, they work really well, much cheaper than getting another regulator.

 

Check Aqua empire, i saw a video of them talking about CO2 replacement parts(if i recall correctly) before the long weekend on their youtube channel
