I sadly need to move my two clown loaches, which have done their job and erradicated most of the snails. They have been growing up in a large planted tank, so I would be keen for them to carry on doing so and to ideally join a bigger loach shoal, where they will be their happiest..

They are in stunning conditon and about 80 to 90mm.

It's very difficult to post a pic as they have been moved to a temporary tank and are under a large piece of mopane all the time untill the lights go off..

Thanks, is your other loach a clown ? Ideally I would be keen to have mine join a shoal of six or more, remember they grow pretty big up to 300mm or more ! ..

''This is a wonderful loach, but too large for most hobbyist aquariums. Allowed a minimum of 75 gallons or more, young Clown Loaches thrive in groups. They require large turnover, efficient filtration systems and current supplied by additional power-heads, frequent water-changes and great attention to cleanliness in the aquarium.''

    Price Trevor?

May help you sell them if people know what you are asking? Even posting a pic off the 'net' will help if you can't get one of yours?

    Cheers!
    G!

Thanks Big G, I have p'med the cost and contact details to a couple of the folk that were interested - 40R per fish, a lot healthier and quite a bit larger than the scrawny flight stressed stock usually seen at the LPS, but are still young fish. I can take them back to to my LPS of course, but ideally wanted them to find some buddies and form part of a shoal in another big tank. As I mentioned it's very difficult to take pics, but you can take my word for it they are in supreme condition!
