The reason why these shoaling fish don't fit in a 50 litre tank. There are even bigger ones!!!

100% possible, if memory serves me correct they reach 60cm + in the wild

Most aquarium fish that grow large in our tanks will grow even bigger in the wild. Bala Sharks get massive, compared to the size they are in our tanks

    Yup,
Clowns can grow to a foot in length. And the are sociable fish.
So they aren't really suitable for a "standard" community setup.
But if you have the space, they are fantastic fish to keep.

I want clowns very badly but after reading up on them I'll feel to guilty keeping them in a 320L tank

Clown loaches have a ridiculously long life span so get a few and when they get bigger u will have a reason to get a bigger tank
