Cloudy Water

Hi all.
Over the past couple of days my water that is normally crystal clear, has become cloduy.
There has been nothing changed in the setup of the tank.
The only thing that I can think of that I did differently before the water went cloudy, was that I fed my Corys 4 shrimp pellets. They never took to the pellets when I first got them. I have had them for a while now and thought that I would try them again. I did not see any pellets left in the tank the next morning. Could it be that if the pellets were uneated that they would have made my water cloudy? Could 4 shirmp pellets make the water in a 100L go cloudy?

I do not have long experience, but think you might run a full test on your water to make sure what way to go.

 

Only way to check is to do a water change and see what happens, if it becomes crystal clear the it was probably the food if the water stays cloudy then you have a nother problem.... that's my advice someone will correct me if I am wrong.

 

Can you see particle matter floating in the water or is it just a cloudy white?

 

I would make sure the filters are not blocked and maybe give the filter material a clean with some tank water so as not to disturb the bacteria.

 

How long has your tank been running for darryn?
