Clean tank with Angelfish fry and parent

    Hi guys

    Just wanted to know if it's safe to siphon my aquarium while there are 1 week old Angelfish fry and a parent in there. I am not sure if the parent might decide to eat the fry if I interfere. The parent seems very protective(gets super annoyed even when I turn on the aquarium light)

    I cleaned my tanks with Angel parents and fry.
    Have to do it very gently. I used a narrow hose (not one of the vacuum devices) to hoover up waste from the bottom. Try to not get close to te fish them selves.
    And then very gently and slowly add the fresh water

    Not something that can be done in a rush.

    Agree with @Reedfish, we did the same with our geo and blue acara fry and they were fine

    Just do it with a thin hose and gently..

    Ok thanks, managed to do a small water change and stick in a bio filter. p.s takealot are selling nice boyu bio filters

    Yes use airline tubing to do it. Be prepared to get bittin while u busy. What are u feeding

    Use a thin hose and put a stocking over the end to keep the fry from getting sucked down
