chemicult hydro powder help

hey for all pta people that are using the prof palm fibre peat method. . was wondering where you got the 500g bag of chemicult? I have tried zambezi and centurion builders wharehouse. all they have is 1kg or 2kg bags . I don't see the point buying so much, even the 500g bag is to much since we only use a teaspoon.
if you have some and you in pta pm me ill buy what you havent used or something.

 

Brads: You should be able to get it at nurseries as well.
I would be able to spare you some, but I'm in Cape Town....

 

I went to 2 nurseries as well as makro going to more on sunday. we moving house on tuesday so I want to redo my tank with different substrate and pfp. if I can't get a smaller amount or bag by tuesday or wednesday then ill just get the 1 kg bag that I saw .

 

Such a waste to get 1kg. Sure there should be someone in PTA that can help. Why not check through the old threads and see who recently set up their tank with PFP?

I bought the 500g blue tub.. which i think is the same thing sold in the bags, at Pick and Pay. I have seen it at Game as well.

 

Just be careful with the tubs, they are not quite the same!! They contain other nutrients that are designed to be specific to the plants they are intended for, and some of these are harmful. They also contain different ratios of nutrients to the Hydro powder which again may cause issues!

hey to pta people I was suppose to get from argorn but something came up while I was in lenz.(big thanks to argorn for the generous offer!)
im moving to my new house in midstream tomorrow and it would be of great help if someone nearby can spot me 2 teaspoons of chemicult?
if not ill be buying the 1kg bag and using what I need then whoever in pta needs they can collect how much they need from me.
