I want to know what in your eyes is the fish with the most character and what the character(s) are. I will then select a few of them and get them in memory of my dog.

What kind of tank are you going to be putting these fish into? Cichlids, Community? What is the size of the tank? I'm sorry to hear about your dog, what happened? :sad2: Losing a pet is like losing a family member.:bawling:

I took her for a walk on her leash then she tried to bite the car but the car drove over her. It was 150 m away from the vet and By the time I got there her heart had stopped. It doesn't matter. I will decide when the time is right. Just the fish and why you say so.

Sorry to hear about it man! One of mine went the same way.

As for fish, corys have always been very interesting to watch because they are always busy digging looking for food etc. Or even some angels etc.

For me puffers are some of the fish with the most caracter.
Always curious, very interactive and will even get bored
if your tank is to dull.

Always fub to look at them hunting for snails.

the fish most people compare to dogs are Oscars as they learn to know and interact with you and apparently have a good memory. They sold small in lps but can grow rather large.

A lot of cichlids are quite intelligent and come to know their owners very well, some going so far as to allow their owners to pet them - oscars especially :)

How about Dwarf Gouramis? They are really colourful. Some of my Gouramis are tame and will allow me to touch and feed them (I have the large ones though) They are also very inquisitive fish and are always puttering around the tank looking for all sorts of things.

I have to agree with the Cory's though, they are such cute fish. I'm trying to collect as many different types as I can, I love them.
