The new home page looks great. Nice to have a bit of change every now and then.:bigsmile:

I have been thinking and have wondered what it would take to have a chat section on this forum? Would there be a lot of work, money and legal things to do with it?

 

That would be great, but some are addicts of this site already - do we really want to ruin their lives?

What exactly do you mean by chat? You should try the "live chat" feature on www.marineaquariumsa.com. It's there but not very used at the moment, just got added though.
Other option would be a shoutbox type thing or even a "thread killer" type thread where members can just chat about anything.

I think she'll kick me out if there was now a chat feature for live chatting!!!

 

lol Zoom i have the same problem with my finance(Fiancé) . What is on www.marineaquariumsa.com is what i was talking about. A place that members can go to have a chat with the other members that are on. But i was thinking and there might be a few legal glitches as in people might air their vents about LFS's and also people might use that as an question and answer forum which would then take away the whole purpose of the rest of the site. Maybe you should give it some time on the sister site and see how it goes. From there you can decide if it would be feasible to add it this site.

 

I have been on a few other fish forums and have found that this is the easiest forum to do everything. the other forums have to much going on at the same time. Well done Rory good forum for us newbies.
