Ceramic tiles in an aquarium.

    Hello all. I am currently in the process of setting up my custom built tank and would like to know if anyone is using ceramic tiles as there bottom of there tank , so instead of substrate or bare bottom , ceramic tiles. If so , what has been your experience and advice on this. Does it impact water parameters?
    My tank is going to be a discus tank. Appreciate the feedback.
