Carbon Question

    When running canister filters, what is the suggested method for running carbon ?

    @Warr7270 i put it in the last tray(top) under the filter wool and replace it monthly and it works for me. Only thing is when you have to add meds you need to remove it as the carbon removes any addatives.

    Hi,

    As hazelbag said in the last tray (final tray in the canister before entering the tank). Depending on how you buy the carbon (quantity), you may place it in a filter bag before placing it in the tray of the canister.
