Cape Town - Water Parameters from the Tap

    Would you guys care to share what you get straight from the tap?

    Having recently switched from Test Strips to Liquid Test Kit, I honestly don't know which one to trust, since the pH in particular is completely different between the two.

    PH should be around 8 or so - if you airate it for a day it will drop to around 7 and then continue dropping to around 4

    Aaah, okay that's all I wanted to know because the liquid test kit said 8.0, while the test strips always said 6.8.

    So it seems you okes were quite right in stating the test strips aren't as accurate.

    yup yup - remember the CTCC buffers the water to prevent it from eating the pipes
