Will the Betta be aggressive due to the plecos bright colour?

I don’t think aggression would be an issue.
    What size tank though?

    Agree with @A new day
Should be ok. BN will spend most of its time on the bottom of the tank, or hiding behind decor.
And the Betta usually prefers the upper regions of the tank

But how big is the tank ?
BN produce a fair amount of waste, and it will be difficult to maintain decent water quality if the tank is too small.
