Can soeone ID this for me Please

    this is the laziest fish I have but I don't think it is very happy so I want to do some research on iy yo see if i can fix that.:wondering:

    That thing looks like it should eat anything that fits into it's mouth!! Try adding some guppies in the tank. See how quick it is then. LOL!

    That thing looks hectic!

    I have see it eat a 5cm Bala Shark and I see one of my Malawi's are gone.... LOL I wonder who took it?????

    I cant recall the scientific name..but i'v seen it at petshops as freshwater stone fish..although articles state that they are brackish water species..also read that they have a painful sting..so i'd think twice about handling that fish

    Just looked at snake heads, it looks nothing like it... Stone fish, could be. Those things are nuts...

    I can't see that it is Stone fish because I have tried to examine the fish and as far as I can see it has nothing to sting you with at all? it has " overgrow" fins on its side it looks like it floats when it does swim very graceful but hides most of the night and day

    Looks to me like part of the Goby family?? I'm sure there are a few larger Goby species that are rather nasty! Just can't remember off hand??

    microlepis-wolf-fish looks very similar to this? but not 100% sure?

    I have googled Sleeper Goby now and I can't find one that looks anything like the one I have. I also googled the microlepis-wolf-fish and found one that looks very similar but cant say for sure

    hiHope I am not starting a new thread here, but for what its worth I have caught freshwater gobies in the Limpopo river at Komatiepoort!Look very similar in body shape to that little bugger!the ones in the river have flashes of bright yellow, very cool!

    As far as I can see the Gobies have more fins on his back and abdomen that is why I doubt it is a gobie
