Can I put guppies with female betta’s

i have a 100l tank with approximately 27 guppies, 2 placostomas’s, 3 Kuhli loaches and 1 female Betta. I have recently added aquarium salt into my aquarium as my guppies would die and so did one Betta, would more betta’s die if I add them in?

 

Bettas are a tricky subject. Do some research on a betta sorority.

Bettas each have their own individual personality. Some more aggressive than others.

In my experience guppies and Bettas do not work together. There are some cases where it would work but it comes down to the temperament of the betas. In my cases they have always been aggressive and nip the fins of the guppies.

Now with regards to keeping Bettas together. You would need at least 5 of them. Would have to introduce them all in to the tank at the same time and set up the tank in such a way that there is a space for each betta to claim as its territory. In the beginning there will be a lot of fighting until the bettas establish a hierarchy.

Also you have to find the root cause as to why the fish died before you think of adding new fish. Do you know how the other fish died?
