    Hello

As the title says, I have a small ropefish that unlike his bigger brother,is being bullied.

To such an extent, that he is at the point of loosing his life.

Free to anyone who wants him.

you cant really send a fish by post - by law only freight companies registered to take live stock can take them.... eg, express air - they do airport to airport

I think I am going to try and find out if there is a courier service in Potch that will be able to collect that fish and the I will post it so that every body will know which to use when we need to send fish from town to town..

"The Rope Fish or Erpetoichthys calabaricus is a snake-like fish that originated in Africa. This timid creature has even been know to eat right out of your hand! Also known as the Reed Fish or Snake Fish, this fish certainly looks more like a snake than a fish and is even known to be able to survive outside of the water much like the Mudskipper. It will slithering through the wet grass lands of Africa from water pool to water pool.

Watch out this fish is so active at night that it can jump out of the tank, never leave uncovered. Be careful though, the Rope Fish has an unique accessory breathing organ so if they are not allowed access to an air supply they will drown.

The Rope Fish can grow up to 16" in length, but rarely reaches this length in an aquarium. This fish feeds on shrimps insects, fish and worms. Providing the Rope Fish with a nice place to hide is must."

maybe a big upturned clay pot, maybe grind a "V" shape into the side of it for the fish to hide

    Thanks Ferryman

    I had 4 at a stage, down to 2.

1 escaped, and the other died after eating earthworms.

Lots of hiding places, just trying to make one near where he is trying to hide IE under the heater.

    Real little characters.

    Cute to.
