My apologies for taking so long to reply, had problems with my laptop and could not attach picture on phone.

I was thinking of using wood something like the tank that @rednox sold a while back.

    Any Ideas?

Next time I would rather use Marine Plywood for Durability than any presswood,Superwood or Solid Wood.It will also not be so heavy and much more durable.I would then use a stained varnish to get close to the shade I want.

I used shutter ply to build mine. Shutterply is the commercial equivalent of marine ply and the sheets are stuck together with water resistant glue. Used about 5 coats of woodoc inside and out and it works brilliantly.

Will upload some pics later so you have an idea.

@koganm how do you deal with evaporation/ventilation with that lid? because i can almost imagine water running from your lights as you open the lid.

The back panel is half the width from the top of the hood to the tank, so i have a gap of around 50 mm. I dont have a problem with evaporation. If i do, then a small pc fan should sort it out.
