    abit off-topic here...

I have 4 blue/white "pied" budgies for urgent sale.

R60ea or R220 for the lot or will consider what you have to swop.

These have beed dumped on me and I just need to recover costs - I'm not a bird keeper and cannot provide the neccessary care for these. So please help to provide them with a good home...

They're at my place in Sandton so easily collected or could ship them out when I'm at the airport this week.

    PM for more info.

Doubt it, birds tend to get wild when kept in groups

I have one hand reared budgie, he's an olive green. sits on my shoulder and then runs from side to side after climbing up my arm from my hand. When I feed my ringnecks he jumps into their box and tries to take the food out of their mouth - considering he's like 1/4 their size...

    anway,,,
these "pied" ones are wild and not the playfull type... I shipped them off last night.

Not if you allow them out of their cages all day and teach them to 'up', 'down' etc. I personally do not believe that birds should be left in a cage all day - cruel in my opinion, but opinions differ. All my birds were always left with their cages open so they could go in and out as they pleased. Personal opinion though :)

:) I bird given some freedom is a happier bird. I never had any issues with any of my parrots pulling out feathers etc whereas those parrots left inside cages all day with no stimulation tend to be 'problem' birds :)
