I've noticed tiny air bubble's on one of my plant leaves. The Amazon swords around it has no bubble's, there is some algae on the leaves some looks like green spot and then brownish colour one. There is bubble's on the gravel beneath the plant as well and nothing under the other plants or on there leaves. I've made a 40 % water change 2 weeks back and 10% over the weekend.

I've got T5 with 2 x 24 watt 10000k actinic and a blue globe, and a normal 20watt white light. The tank gets a little bit of morning sun.
    I've got a 140 liter tank with 4 x Angel 7x Neons 7 x Platy, Guppy's x 4 Siamese fighter and 2 loaches.
I feed the plants with Seachem Florish and Execell, and the fish with pallets once a day.

Is it of to much ammonia, or to much light? It's the first time I get bubble's in my tank?

    Thank you

Can you maybe post a picture or two so we can have a look, especially the "problem area.

I think it would be better if you bring it down to 2x 54w 6500k "NO expert in this area"

How big is the angels at the moment ? why I am asking is that they will become a problem when it comes to your neons and guppies.

I will try to take a photo tonight and post it on the forum to show the bubble's

The angels is still youngsters. Once they made up a pair I'm going to keep only two. I've had neons and angels before and as long as the neons is fully grown they fairly live in peace together I want to sell my guppy's so they are no worry at the moment.

I will look at the lights sometime to change bulbs. I just bought it so maybe in few months when i need to replace the bulbs i will upgrade them.

Whoosh, way overkill algae bomb.Replacing 28 Watts with 108 Watts for a 140L tank is too much.
Just get rid of the 20 Watt white light.

Air bubbles on plant leaves is normally not a problem, but air bubbles from the substrate can be.
    The pics will help.

Nasty gas escaping from the substrate.
It could be hydrogen sulphide gas escaping, but lets wait for the pics.

    Quick answer.
When organics(fish poo, snail poo, fish food)builds up in the top layer of the substrate and breaks down and when plant roots are not present in this area to oxygenate the substrate, these gases (hydrogen sulphide)can build up and then escape.
Hydrogen sulphide can cause plant roots to rot, cause fish illness and encourage algae.

    Bubble's op blare.jpg

Here is the photo for the bubble's on the plant leaves. I think there is way to much algae, that is causing the bubble's. But I can be wrong.

The bubble's on the gravel is gone, my Banjo dug himself away on that spot so there's no more bubble's

A light gravel vac,but really light.Just agitate the area and then suck up the particles.
    That's not real pearling.Looks like some BGA(blue green algae),cyanobacteria.
