    I just discovered some very informative video on youtube

    Look for XXL Discus 2 (English version) - it is nicely done and they show how to raise fry artificially, with typed english instruction

    Also look for "largest discus fish factory" (Inti Aquarium) - it is mind blowing to see quantities, especially near the end when one sees 1000's of fry in many breeding bowls. One of the workers (?) states that they have 650 breeding pairs!
