I got myself a male Halfmoon Betta a while back as well as a female betta, think she is a Crowntail. They are in the breeding tank at the moment and the female will be put with the male tomorrow.

    Pics of the male.

Update: They laid eggs 2 days ago, I didn't see any thing happen, just the eggs in the nest late afternoon. So I removed the female that night. Happy to say there are babies starting to fall out of the the nest with the father trying to put them back the whole time. Success so far:bigsmile:

I will do so, I can barely see the fry myself. They are VERY small, don't have a clue how many there are. I just see them when they fall out of the bubbles sometimes and then swim back up..

Thanks for asking.. Nothing left.. Did not worry about them to much. Rather gonna try again when the female has fully recovered..
