breeding bettas

hi guys and girls i intend on breeding bettas this holidays and advice on how to do so like filtration heating feeding tank size etc .

It is the most amazing adventure, but read the breeding threads on bettas as per Charles. You will only learn if you try it out. Prepare yourself well in advance and lots of spare time.

 

thanks guys will do and one more thing size of the female , must she be bigger or smaller

 

Well the female must be slightly smaller for the male to wrap him around her body, if he cannot do that, the spawn will be unseccessfull. Make sure she is mature from about 4 months + should be fine, and she must show her eggspot.
