Boyu LZ 1000 - T8 Ballast Output?

Hi guys, do you know of any boyu agents that I can speak with regarding to technical specs of the ballast for the above mentioned tank.
Alternatively, if you know that would just be great.

I want to upgrade the lighting (higher watt tubes) and unless I'm mistaken, if the ballast cannot support it ... it would be pointless putting in stronger tubes no?

Hi Leen, thanks for that.

I was actually looking for the T8 Ballast (power unit) details.
Such as what max wattage it supports so I can upgrade the lighting.

 

@Dave Abes. I think that is the recommended wattage. Can you not open the covers and see what the rating is on the ballast ?

 

I'll have to dismantle the hood.
I haven't decided weather I'm going to do that or not yet..... but yeah, waiting on Boyu to get back to me... if not I may just have to.

Alternatively...go for the 220v LED Tubes.

(Some rewiring will be necessary...)
