Hallo!

Looking for these little lights for sale in South Africa. Tried Google but did not come up with anything.

Any suggestions for something in its stead would be appreciated.

 

What is the aim ... plant growth or just to show fish?

It's mainly for plant growth and then for how it looks visually.

It's for little 15 liter tanks so I'm looking for something small. Will have a look at your pm

Single T8 tube .. with a reflector across all 3 tanks is what I would do. Give the LED's a skip till the next generation hits us.

You could even go to builders tomorrow and get a single sheet of 4 mm glass cut that is the length plus 10 mm of the tanks and the width of tanks minus say 15 mm x2, that way you can put the sheet over all 3 tanks and still have slots front and back for cables, feeding even a WC without having to lift anything, but reduce the chances of the betta jumping out. Then you can place any light source of the tank - be it reading lamps from game with CFL's in the them or a single tube. But at that depth you might be getting to much light from a T8 so some sort of pendant could be the answer - ... put your DIY cap on.

With regards to the above discussions about my lighting for my Betta tanks, I would just like to ask the following:

Would two lamps with 330 Lumen Reflector Globes at 4000k each, provide adequate lighting? No high tech plants, only some swords, anubias and some or other grass.

Tanks are 30 x 22 x 22.5 each and placed directly next to each other.
