    Hi, Rory I presume?

I have n tiny little problem, when I view threads on my blackberry I can only see the 1st 20 posts and nothimg else. It doesn't have the "1, 2, 3 » last" displaying the next 20 threads option.
I just wana know is it supposed to be like that, or is this only wih BB's?

Yeah You'll have to get another phone... :)

Just kidding, i only hate BlackBerry. Thus my abrupt response.
But seriously now, that sounds more like a browser issue than the BB itself.

    Do you use Opera Mini?

I think its your settings, when you are in the browser, go to settings and click all the boxes and then see if all is well.

atleast you can view some pages. I have a Blackberry 8520, and whenever i go onto this site it says done, but all it brings up is a blank white page. I have cleared my cache, done everything i can think of, yet the problem still remains.

Hi. I am using "opera mini" as a web browser and it works well on my BB and also much faster than google. you can download from 'app world' on your phone.

    Let me rephrase that...

Step 1: spend 2 days fighting with the bl%dy thing because it doesn't work.
    Step 2: Update
Step 3: Cancel update because your gut feel says you should backup first
    Step 4: Backup
Step 5: Battery pull (this will take approx 30 mins)
    Step 6: Update
    Step 7: Wait
    Step 8: Wait some more
Step 9: Wait for phone to reboot (Another 30 mins
Step 10: Restore all the profiles, sounds, alerts back to how you originally had them
Step 11: Reinstall the backup because the update deleted all your contacts, calendar entries and important information
Step 12: Batter pull again (Another flipping 30 mins)
Step 13: Discovery that everything you have done was in vain
Step 14: Wait for your contract to upgrade (This is where I am right now)
Step 15: With the upgrade, buy the new Samsung that operates a much more stable Android platform

    Step 16: Gloat

Step 17: After gloating, realize that Apple made a much cooler phone and cry deeply...

Just get an Android phone. Much more user friendly without all the problems.

I've been a BB user for 10 years and most of the time I never had any problems. BB is only good for about 14 months and then the problems start. Once the problems start they become a display toy in a strange place.

Firmware updates is important and remember to use the backup system. My BB backup itself once a week. After my previous BB ended up swimming in the fish tank, I logged in and updated all my numbers and settings to my new BB.

I have the same blank white page issue and I get it on any BB I try and access my account from, could it be an account setting? Btw @windfire if your friends have BB dont bother getting anything else you will only become that loser who brags about how cool their Iphone/android is but cant actually tell anyone because everyone is on BBM not whatsapp or whatever other messenger service

lol thanks @FishRMan i've actually been fairly stubborn that i liked my scadonk of a fone but the airtime cost are beggering me and seeing that the majority of people i sms have a bb i figured i couldnt go wrong, though the damn things confuse the hell outa me. i would have stuck with my old fone but i mean ive spent R45 on airtime sine monday and his is a good week so yeah. i'm taking over my brothers old one since he got a upgrade. hmmm i probably shoulda got them to wipe the fone when they fixed the screen lol

Just update your phones through the bb desktop software on the pc.

    1. install and update bb desktop software
    2. run bb desktop software
    3. connect your phone
    4. go to device - update
    5. it should ask if you require a back up, do that as well (no battery pull nonsense required)
    6. phone will back up- update - restore - reboot
    7. phone should be running much better and hopefully everything sorted :D
