Black Molly Female

We have only one Black Female Molly and one male in our tank, we had the male from the start, but recentlly bought the female from a Pet Shop in Bloem. A few days ago, we discovered that she was swollen, looks like she might be "pregnant", but all het scales are standing up (don't know the correct discription in english, but I'm sure you'll understand). With that said, I'm not really sure if she is pregnant, is that a disease of some kind or is that the way of the pragnant Molly?
I know there is a disease which causes the scales to part from the body a bit, but I'm not sure if a swollen tummy goes along with this disease...

Unfortunately, it sounds like your fish might have bloat disease, also known as dropsy. I don't know much about it myself, but I did a quick Google search for you and came up with some results:

Thanx SA, for your help. it looks like dropsy, ( link2 & 3 ). we thought see was pregnant, but saw the scales are not lekker...

She is in a breeding "cage" in the tank. i added a bit of salt the the water. this is some of the medicine the links suggested.

will go to petshop tommorow and see if they have other medicine, that the links suggested.
