Wanted: Black Ghost Knife

Hi all. So I did all the research like a good boy and finally decided that a BGK is exactly the fish that I want as the focal point of my tank. I closed my shop early and raced to the lps that had 3 of them when I was there on Thursday. Lo and behold... 1 sold, 1 died, 1 jumped.... :cry:

Anyone in East London know of one looking for a home? I don't do the whole "delayed gratification" thing very well.

 

Saw some being floated in a baggie in a pet shop in Vereeniging very beautiful, didn't know they can jump .

Yeah.... That is a pity. I would pay a premium for one that has a healthy track record. Apparently many of the imported ones have issues.

 

the one at my LFS that things been around for ages now... i think hes really healthy , have u contacted any suppliers?

 

Nope, not yet. Do any of them ship fish? I think I'd rather wait for summer though, before doing an overnight ship. The cold could be an issue, no?

 

if i get a chance ill ask my guy at my lfs where he got his , my lfs gets the most interesting fish at times and i dont know how... like doctor fish? and sole...
even beat the larger fish shops to stock , asked a big supplier if they could get me ottos for ages and nothing i asked my lfs and in a week i had 4 ottos XD so ill ask for you if thatll help ?

 

Yeah.... That would be super awesome if you could. The East London shops would probably help if they could, but it's such a small market segment here, that I think they kinda get second dibbs at everything. When I was keeping marines it was easy..... I used to only keep the self caught stuff, so no worries.... Haha
