@Hendre, if you read on the bottle it says "The Ultimate Water Conditioner and Bio-Filter Booster". Mayhaps some Googling would help?

I have a friend that uses it. Not sure how good it is. It it a dechlorinator and adds beneficial bacteria as well. If I'm not mistaken it's also a buffer

I would also like to find out more about this product and if it help to break down organic matter as mention in anothe thread. I always have a tank full of guppy fry and syphoning the tank is a pai in the butt would love it if i can only do it once a week instead of twice a week

Yes if i felt the need or if ever i feel i need extra help in disolving/getting rid of sludge

At the moment ny tanks are not really overstocked and have over the top filtration so i havent used it yet..
I opened both my C2400 canisters this weekend and its about 5 months since i opened them and they were fairly clean.
The sump is quite big and looks like its doing the main job

But... yes, i would if i felt i needed to

 

I would also love to use it , but I am keeping frontosa , and with frontosa you add salts , so this is a no-go zone for me unfortunately

hmmmm , and Marine does contain salt , makes you wonder why they say don't add with salt?

It looks like it will do the same job, I was also checking out some products that might be able tovdo the job and prices so I could budget for it since I can only use a certain amount of money on my fish keeping hobby.
