Okay guys since there is almost no local experience and information regarding the Bio-Elite medication for anti-ich I will post my experience with it here as I bought myself a bottle for just over R114 for a 250ml bottle it treats 38 liters of water for every 5 milliliters.

Use:

* Treatment of "Ich" (Whitespot)

Bio-Eliteâ€™s anti ich contains Aloe Ferox and herbal extracts that are antiparasitic and antibacterial.

The infected fish should be treated in the main tank as the "Ich" parasite as a portion of its life cycle on the fish and a portion in the water. Treatment is required for 10-14 days as the life cycle of the parasite is of this duration.

There are over 150 different species of Aloe in the world of which Aloe Vera, Aloe Barb. and Aloe Ferox are used medicinally. Aloe Ferox is indigenous to the Cape and Southern Kwa-Zulu Natal in South Africa. Aloe Ferox has a considerably better healing ability over the other Aloe species.

Aloe Ferox has many medicinal properties but those that are important in this context, are as follows:
