    Finally my bettas spawn again.
The first spawn so far is a pine apple Half moon x black dragon PK female.

They spawn on the 17 Januray. I hope the eggs are fertilized. The poor male has a chunk bitten out of his tail by the female. When I came hom I saw her eating a piece of his fin she bite of! He is now all over the tank collecting lost eggs and putting them in the nest.

I really hope he don`t eat the eggs... I had a lot of egg eating males.

Really sad to say. I could not find many eggs in the nest. So I looked.... he ate alot...
I managed to save one that look like its fertilized.

Anyway I want to spawn him again. He is now in the tank with a red dragon scale female (sister to black dragon scale female)
The male is flaring and blowing bubbles. I hope this time things will go better.

About a week or what ago this pair spawned agian. This time I siphon out some eggs. THe next day he ate a lot. Of the few I had siphon out only a few survive. The rest was unfertilized. So I looked after the eggs I siphon out and he looked after his in the nest. WHen the fry were freeswimming I removed him. A few days later I notcie one fry is still there. I don`t know why they died and why a lot was unfertilized. But anyway the one fry is doing great now. But now I want to breed him again for he is quite pretty. When I have a tank open I will breed him with a red dragon female PK or a blue crown tail dragon.
