Swop: Betta for Hardware.

Hey guys.

So I've got these 2 betta that I'm going to need to rehome. My landlord has noticed my water usage and told me I'm going to need to cut back (my water is included in the fixed rent so he doesn't want to much usage) and to be fair when I moved in here it was a squeeze to put them in and maintenance on the 2 tanks is a mission considering they're almost at ceiling height in my room.

So now I've got the 2 betta (pics attached) that I would like to shop out for maybe some hardware on my main big tank... If anyone is really keen on the 2 little guys I can shop out with the tanks included, they're 30L dark tanks with florescent lights.

Hey I can swap you a filter or air pump that has two ends or a heater or all of them for the two

Unfortunately I have those things already... I was thinking maybe I'd shop them out for some nice pieces of spider wood or something worth while.

What plants specifically because I'm also revamping the big tank and I want to do specifics that are rather hard to fine...

I know I'm being picky but I want to get something really worth while for the 2 little guys, I've had them for some time now

 

I can give you 2 Anubias, 10-15 Ludwigia repens stems , some Christmas moss, 2-5 Hygrophila difformis and 2 buce

Let me think on that man and I'll get back to you... maybe be a few weeks before can actually plant anything in my tank what with budget being tight and all but I will bookmark this thread.

Tell us about your big tank and some pictures would be nice

 

Well the big tank is a 40G breeder home to 5 Gourami, 6 tiger barbs and a butterfly pleco.

At the moment it's got a flat gravel used typically with hydroponics but I find that it isn't enough to sustain the plants, so I'm going to do a bit of a scaping with seachem onyx base and capped with flourite black sand. I want to give it some tiers and levels hence my need for smoother larger stones with some decorative spider wood.

This project may take a day or 2 though so I need some decent space to keep my fish temporarily. The pic is my initial setup but some plants have died from the lack of nutrients.
