Finally i'm starting to breed with my fish. I'm using some of the bettas I got at my LFS. First want to see if it a good enough setup. Will post some pics later. The male is flaring like mad and the female is already showing vertical stripes. I just added her to the tank. Will release her around tonight.

    Wish me luck!

Wow. My betta male is really aggressive. My poor females fins are being ripped apart.

I will post some pics tomorrow. If things are not looking better by tomorrow I'm going to take them out, recondition and try the other male. Hopefully he is not as aggressive.

They are embracing after 3 days now. Still no eggs coming out of the female. Hopefully by the end of the day there is a good amount of eggs.

    I have breed bettas twice.
The second time I breed them the female relesed no eggs.
Just later I saw 2 or 3 eggs comming out.
At the end of the day I have a nest full of eggs.
Sadly I did not have the right food for betta fry so only 2 fry survived.
They are around 3 cm long.
But I hope your bettas will breed.

    I hope so.
If the eggs are yellow they are fertilized.

    Good luck again.

When the male squeeze the eggs out of her he should fertilezed them.
A male usually take good care of the eggs and fry.
I don`t know when a male is eating the eggs.
But if he puts them in the bubble nest he might care for them.
    Good luck!

Hmmm oke thank you. I have taken the female out. He chased her away from the nest. He is repairing the nest and looking after the eggs. So I'm hoping they are fertilized.

If they are fertilezed they might hatch tommorow.
I think I must breed bettas myself again.
