Best Glass Sheets and where get it

Hi Guys

I want to venture in building my own tank, will be seeking help and advise from someone who has done this before.

I have analyzed all issues that may arised and I am seeking to replace my 2 meter TV stand with the tank. Any advise on where I can get affordable glass and all other equipment required to setup the tank?

Are you going to use the TV stand for the tank to stand on or have metal stand built for the tank?

Best place for glass in jhb is Rene Turk. I know they supply a few tank builders and can give u quotes via email.

Depends where u are in JHB, delivery is free.

 

hahahahahaha yeah I so hooked, so I am planning to sell the TV stand, will mount some shelves on the wall on each side of the TV. I will build a wood base for the stand. Here are some example I found.
