    Toxotes Blythii

Ok, I'll play. Here are some pics of my all-time favourite fish, and I am lucky enough to own four of them. In addition to their stunningly good looks, they also have a lovely personality and the unique ability to spit a stream of water to knock their prey (typically a juicy cricket) from it's perch above. What is amazing about this ability, is the fact that they need to compensate for the diffraction of light when they look at their target, and they seldom miss...

Toxotes Blythii are one of the very few types of Archerfish that are truly freshwater species, their cousins are most often found in brackish water.

This is a Black Diamond Leopoldi Stingray. Beautiful, majestic, a dream! It truly looks like jewels from the water!

Ok cool. But then maybe you should make the entrance requirements a bit more clear because the impression I got was that it did not need to be my fish or scape :)

    FAVOURITE FISH:

My only "relatively large" fish that I didn't get rid of when I switched over to planted tanks...simply because my better half said and I quote "Jaws is family, you can't just get rid of family"

My (or at least now it's my girl's) RTBS aka "Jaws"
    195609.jpg

He is so loved in our house...that I had to plan Sharon's Smurf Tank around his "cave". Regardless of how I want to "rescape" the Smurf scene...I am made aware of the fact that "Jaws' cave" must remain in the same place. In fact...I had to make the cave bigger coz someone thought he was a bit cramped :stupid:

Here's evidence of how "important" one fish's cave is...evident in both scapes on the right...hahaha
    20140914_205654.jpg

new, bigger and improved hideout/cave for "our" beloved Jaws:

@aqua dude give your scape a few months and it would look awesome when fully grown in. Good scape

If you can also get more wood tall ones to add to the back left it will complement the scape well @aqua dude
