Rewind two months back: We moved into a new place.

Now the landlord we are renting from has a storage shed on the premises which they said I could use to store my lawn mower etc...

FFW to yesterday: I moved some of the boxes to the storage shed. As I started packing boxes I noticed it...

A 4ft tank covered in dust filled with something that looks like hamster bedding. a Real diamond in the rough. I checked it thoroughly for cracks. None

Now. my plan, offer them some silly money for the tank, resilicone it and voila!

What do you guys think? Worth it, or not?

good find ruan, hope he just gives it to you instead of buying it, that way you can buy a six pack and admire your newly acquired tank...

free would be good, but if he wants maybe a couple of rands, not too much...
I'm sure if it needs so much work R100 will do...

Just check what it was used for before - it may have been used for a snake or some other land animal, and the tank itself might not be able to handle the weight of the water...
