I have 4 Banjo Cats all around the 8 to 10cm mark. I would like to sell them to make space for new arrivals! They are interesting and unusual critters! I bought them around 9 months back, when they were barely the same size as a R1 coin! They spend most of their time buried in the sand, but it is very cool watching them rise from the sand to eat! I recently saw similar sized ones for sale in the LFS for R79 each, so I'd be looking for offers around R50 each, or I'll take R150 for all 4! Any questions feel free!? I can't post pics as I'm not online at the moment! Only on wap! Cheers! Big G!

Hi gaawie! I'm having trouble replying to your PM, but that day is fine provided my wife does not go into labour? Gimme a PM when you know if you can make it? If it helps on the picture front, I believe that I have 3 craggy-headed banjo's, (possibly bi-coloured banjo's) and 1 'normal' banjo if there is such a thing? Although, I cannot be sure, as there are several types that all look similar? I bought them in two batches of 2, and the second batch was mixed types! Cheers! Big G!

Hey luc! Today could work! I'll PM you a little later when I've sorted a few things this end! I'll also have to find them all in the sand so you can see them! Oh, and you should be able to PM now! That post took you to 10! Congrats! Cheers! Big G!

Hi gaawie! They are not fussed either way? You could keep one or as many as your sand would comfortably hold! Let me know about wednesday? Cheers! Big G!

What time works best for you? I can work around you? As long as I've got a few hours to catch them, I'll have them ready for you! They can hide well! I found 3 yesterday, but could not find the fourth! Wish me luck! Cheers! Big G!

Hi Gaawie! Being catfish, they eat pretty much anything that sinks, as long as they don't have to move too much to get it! I fed them frozen foods like bloodworm, artemia (brine shrimp), daphnia, mysis shrimp and white mosquito larvae mainly, but they also ate omega one brine shrimp pellets, tetra bottom feeder tablets, tetra bits, and even some algea wafers! Just don't expect them to eat at every feeding! Sometimes you'll not see them feed for days! I tried to feed after lights out every now and then, as they are happier eating at dusk and dawn, but they'll eat when they are hungry!! Hope that helps? Cheers! Big G!
