    Hi all

I took the family on a trip to Bali indo last week for our annual break and got some pics of a fish or two so just wanted to share them with you.

There were the local fish they looked like a cichlid of sorts and some convicts that they use for mozi control in the public ponds and man made streams that I will show you but I wish I had a little glass jar and a net for the little fish I saw darting in the water gully's feeding the rice paddy's between the nappies and plastic bottles, they looked really colorful but to fast to photograph.

Our tour guide took us to the only pet marked he new of and there was one dismal fish stall and one small but decent quality fish shop. I should have researched it better but then it was not a fish scouting trip.

We had lunch later in Ubut at a spot with a great koi pond and some cockatoos and a hole section with fighting cocks in some very larnie cages. Cock fighting is legal in some areas.

    First the public ponds.

The biggest Red Turq Discus had beautiful markings on his forehead well they all did. I just wanted to bag them all up as I just got a new 700L tank back home before I left just for that.

One tank had some Rainbows in it I have no idea on the name but they were pretty and I have seen them before.

I have some other picks of two other spiders I'll post. The one I am sure I have seen one similar in Cape Town on the mountain.

The zigzag web pattern on the web was what reminded me of the CT spider.

That is a large cicada beetle so that should give you a idea how big she was, the little red guy must be the male.
